"Trade Security Day" has been held annually since 2011 as a regular event where the government, industry, and academia come together
to share policy directions on trade security and to strengthen collaboration .
Hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and organized by the Korea Strategic Trade Institute (KOSTI), the event focuses on presenting trade security policies, enhancing public-private cooperation, and honoring distinguished contributors.
It aims to strengthen Korea’s capabilities in implementing strategic trade controls.
As the importance of securing strategic technologies and restructuring global supply chains grows, trade security has emerged as a key policy agenda across the international community.
Accordingly, Trade Security Day has established itself as a platform that demonstrates Korea’s technical security capabilities and solidarity with the global community,
and will continue to be a central venue for sustainable cooperation and policy dialogue.
